How would light scratches on a PS3 controller motherboard affect it?

I was disassembling my PS3 controller to pain the shell, and I had this stupid tiny screw driver with no grip. It slipped a few times and scratched the motherboard a little bit. Now certain buttons are triggering other buttons. Do you think this was caused by those tiny scratches or some thing I did while reassembling it?

  1. The motherboard is the most important thing in the console. If it get’s damaged or stained then it will no longer work and you would need to buy a new motherboard. Also, maybe when you put the PS3 back together it got twisted. If a pin scratched the motherboard then that’s just little. The problem is you got some wires mixed up with others.

  2. It could cut some of the small channels that carry the data across the motherboard. This can completely destroy the console. Especially if near the CPU because if one breaks, the system no longer works as it relys on all the channels to work.

  3. Yeah get it looked at by some one or if you can’t afford it yet wait because the ps4 is about to come out but get it looked at so that way you can confirm if it won’t work any more it could have to do with that or it may not it also might be your controller so just do that
