Playstation 3 DNS Error?

I just got a DNS error.

is it a internet connection problem? i don’t think its a internet connection problem cause my internet on everything else is fine.

what do i do?!?!?!?!?!

  1. If you are still encountering DNS problems on your PS3 and everything appears to be connected and setup properly, you should be able to fix the problem by specifying your own DNS servers for the PS3 to use.

    In the PS3 network settings, manually set the DNS address to 208.67.222.222 (and optionally 208.67.220.220 for the secondary server).

    Now try connecting, the DNS issue should be resolved.

    If it isn’t, then there is a more serious problem with the network connection that you need to diagnose. In that case I would start by unplugging everything (including PS3, broadband router, modem etc.) and then reconnect everything. A simple reboot of network appliances can often fix many connection issues.
