  1. Xbox owner moving to PS4 played games for 20 years dont trust MS to do the right thing for the business. So I’m going to get PS4 Microsoft can insert their lies their harmful attitude to gaming and indeed the X1 up their backsides. If you buy the X1 and god help you if you do you’re still handing control over your experience to them. You see the drm ‘reversal’ is a patch that can be unpatched at anytime. I refer you to the tos ( terms of service) it says very clearly that microsoft has the right to change the terms of your membership at anytime without warning. Now also would like to point out the design flaw in the X1 the hdd. The hdd is internal and the X1 requires you to install 50 gb blue rays on to a 500 gb hdd you can’t upgrade. How long is that going to take to fill? If the NSA sorry MS detect that you have greater hdd capacity than the X1s retail hdd your account is banned. Now Sony were clever they got 500 gb removable hdd so it can be upgraded. Now if the X1s hdd breaks or corrupts you’re truly screwed you lose the machine till its fixed. Finally very damning E3 MS were running games on PCs with graphics 3 times the X1 what you saw wasn’t the console. The PS4 is better cheaper to and assure you I know from personal experience Sonys consoles are very reliable the X1 is more expensive but thats because of kinect still the same crappy work underneath. Oh this my final reason I promise MS didn’t listen to gamers but listen to Sony listening to gamers and Sony bending MS over and giving them a good seeing to

@jack the RAM on the xbox is ddr 3 the ram on the playstation ddr 5. Now graphics the playstation has 18 CU graphics core giving the playstation raw graphics power advantage of 50% my source digital spy read it and weep. PS4 has a bigger gun. All this talk of the X1 being cloud powered is marketing prattle. The xbox needs drm on to fully utilise the cloud but if drm gets turned on xbox is done. If Sony play their cards correctly they could put the xbox in its place once and for all the PS4 is going to go down as the greatest console in video game history. It is no question the ultimate games machine the work of a master the best console I’ve ever seen. Next year playstation get the gaikai cloud which will allow streaming of old ps games its going to be sweet.

  2. Sony are a superb company to support. They listen to their customers. Unlike Microsoft who look to rob you set every turn.

  3. I like the PS4 better do to all restrictions Microsoft is placing on the Xbox One. I also like the PS4 better because it costs a hundred dollars cheaper.

  4. If you like playing and sharing your game play go with ps4 if you like watching tv and a camera watching you all the time go with xbox

  5. PS4. for several reasons

    1. Cheaper Price. Xbox One: $500 PS4: $400. Xbox One is bundled with Kinect (which most people don’t need or want) so you have to pay an extra $100 for something you don’t want. You could buy a PS4 with a game and extra controller for around the same price.

    2. Less restrictions. Xbox One makes you buy Kinect with the console, but PS4 doesn’t. Kinect is always on, even if you trust some software settings, hackers can still listen in. Having a camera watching and listening to you is not a benefit. It’s stupid, especially when Microsoft was discovered to have exposed information to the NSA, so theoretically the NSA could watch you through Kinect if they wanted. You can’t disconnect Kinect, and it probably will not work if you cover it up with something. Also, stupid dipshit Xbox fanboys apparently signed a petition to bring back the RESTRICTIVE policies (you have to check in every 24 hours, no trading games or taking them to friends’ houses) and it has received 26,000 signatures so far, and it could probably happen, and those stupid Restrictive policies will come back.

    3. Better and more exclusives. Which exclusives are better is just opinion, but PS4 has Killzone, Infamous, Driveclub, and a whole bunch of other things. but factually, PS4 has announced 30 exclusives, 20 of which coming out in PS4’s first year. And Xbox only has 15, which in my opinion aren’t as good as the PS4 exclusives.

    4. Hardware. The PS4 has much higher GPU capacity, 150% more. It also has better ram, (Xbox has DDR3, PS4 has DDR5, which can handle more capacity and graphics, basically more power). Also, they both have 8 Gigs of ram. But, the Xbox One will use 3 GIGS of that for the stupid tv stuff that nobody needs, meaning that you sacrifice some of your gaming capacity for that. But PS4 will use almost all of its RAM for gaming.

    5. Community. The PS4 has outsold the Xbox One in pre-orders. Hell, even the OUYA outsold the Xbox One in Canada. But I’d say at least 2/3 of people are going PS4, so most of the social community will be there, and probably most of your friends. Sony said they would have unlimited pre-orders, meaning they had A LOT of PS4s set to manufacture, but they actually did sell out of pre-orders, meaning A LOT of people are going PS4.

    6. Backwards compatibility. Neither console is backwards compatibile, however, the PS4 does have an advantage because it will be using gaikai, which will be a streaming service in 2014 that will let u play ps3 games, but people don’t really know all the specs and how it works, but there at least will be some form of backwards compatibility.

Just want to add that I am not a fanboy. I owned a PS2, then went to Xbox 360 because the social features and everything was better. So I’ve liked both sides. I like Xbox 360 better than PS3, but The PS4 in my opinion is better than the Xbox One, I hope this helped you make your decision.

  6. Its really personal. For me, based on the reveal event and the E3 press conference, the PS4 is the winner. Both systems have quite similar hardware except for the lightning quick GDDR5 system memory on the PS4 vs DDR3 on the X-BOX. Plus X-BOX One’s DRM is horrible, with all that fuss around the policy about used game purchase.

The PS4 is a gamers console. Its main objective is gaming; not movies, not online media streaming, not nothing crappy. Its focus on gaming is clear by the amount of exclusives already revealed or announced. Aesthetically, the PS4 looks better too. Its not quite appealing as the PlayStation 3 back in 2006 but it still looks good.

Microsoft however, unlike Sony, took a bold move and turned its console in to a home entertainment station, rather than a gamer’s dream. It weird DRM policies make it. But it still has promising games, like Forza Motorsport.

Big thing that makes the PS4 winner is its $399 price tag. I think that says it all.

  7. I’ll suggest you to go for Xbox One it is coming out with improved Kinect which is said to be a lot more efficient and better as compare to current Kinect. Also they have already turn back from their restrictions. So over all it is better if you go for Xbox One. But there is one more factor because now both of these consoles are pretty much equal in hardware you should also check that which console most of your friends are getting and go for same console.

Here are some latest videos and game choices on Xbox one, to help your decision:

My suggestion is to take Xbox but again first is to check with your friends and see what they are getting and take the same console because at the end of the day playing with friends worth a lot more than playing online with strangers.
