  1. Just as it says.

The original PS2 is huge, chunky and heavy. About the size of a video recorder. The Slimline PS2 is sleek, light and fits in small spaces. Electronically, there is no difference

  2. The original ps2 which first debuted in around 2000 or 2001 was fat, had a terrible size, and just was atrocious to look at

The ps2 slimline which debuted in around 2004 was slim and at least it didn’t take up as much space as the old one. oh and plus the ps2 slimline has a built in network adapter so that you can play online. (you must buy a separate network adapter for the fat ps2 to play online)

  3. the slim was supposed to have the problems the old model had, but they both eventually have the smae problem that all of the others have suffered from which is the system will just stop reading all games and movies out of nowhere. its good to know that sony has found a way to fix the problems the ps2 had.

  4. ps2 slimline has a built in network adaptor. it costs like $20 extra for the adaptor on the old ps2. but there is really no use for it cuz ps2 is not really meant for good online gaming.
