Catching big air and doing tricks, these things are all in a day’s work with the hardcore Volkl Men’s Wall Skis. Best used on backcountry areas, the Volkl Men’s Wall Skis leaves the competition far behind with its center width design and equal measurements on the tip and tail. With this design, it gives the ski board better and improved flotation ability on heavy snow terrains.

Designed for the freestyle skier, tricks have never been easier to pull until the Wall Skis came along. Built from materials that give it extra rigidity, you can practice with it anytime, anywhere, in any snow condition without worrying about damages that might render your board useless.

The Volkl Men’s Wall Ski’s sidecut measurements are 115mm / 87mm / 115mm (tip / waist / tail), with all sizes sharing the same sidecut measurements. Its wide-waist design gives it more control than other wide-waisted boards, giving it the ability to easily ride on powder snow conditions. The board is available on two sizes; 169cm, and 177cm. The board’s turn radius is measured at 18.2m at 169cm length, which is surprisingly small for such a big board, but makes the board ideal for narrow paths, where it is required to make smaller turns.

The Volkl Men’s Wall Ski is made from the same construction as the Bridge Ski: Power / Tough Box construction. This construction gives the board the capability to withstand hard landings, as well as hard bumps on the mountain terrains. The Tough Box enhancement further improves the rigidity of the board by equipping the board with fiberglass strands around its core material. Its core material is also made from Sensorwood, which is made from processed poplar and beech wood, making the edges more rigid, and the power transmission more efficient. Lightweight Carbon stringers make the board tougher, but not making it anymore heavier.

The board is also equipped with vibration-dampening materials, which acts as a shock absorber, absorbing the impact produced when the board hits a rock or hard ice. This is strategically placed within the different sections of the board, with more on the tip. This is especially useful when going downhill on a rocky, bumpy mountain terrain.

The Volkl Men’s Wall Ski does not come with its own Integrated Binding System, or its own binding set. You can use your favorite brand of bindings, but Volkl recommends the use of Salomon’s Z12 TI Ski Bindings. While the board can hold enough on its own, extra durability provided by the Z12 TI Ski Bindings wouldn’t hurt, and it also gives the skier the comfort they need while skiing downhill.

Experienced skiers praise the Vokl Men’s Wall Skis for being extremely easy to do tricks with. Catching big air and doing complex tricks have never been this easier. This board is recommended for skiers who want to spend equal time on park terrains, and downhill skiing.

If you want to know more about the board’s specifications, its price, where you can buy one and other information regarding the Volkl Men’s Wall Skis, you can visit their website.

Do you love the feeling of snow bits trickling in your face as you go downhill? Do you want a versatile board that can handle hard snow conditions, as well as glide on soft snow conditions? If so, then what you need is the Volkl Men’s Unlimited AC3 Skis with 3Motion 10.0 Bindings! Its versatility and its ability to handle different snow conditions is enough to warrant a purchase!

While other boards can offer you the versatility you need, the Volkl Men’s Unlimited AC3 Skis offers versatility but does not require high-level experience in order for you to use it. In fact, even beginners can enjoy using this board, and with ease too!

The Unlimited AC3 Ski’s sidecut measurements are 117mm / 72mm / 103mm (tip / waist / tail) at 163cm size. The board is available on different sizes, ranging from 149cm (smallest), 156cm, 163cm, 170cm, and the largest size, 177cm. With its small waist, it has a small turn radius of 17.0m at 177cm size. This enables you to make easy turns on narrow paths.

The board is best used on downhill ski tracks, where it really shines. Beginners need not to worry, as it is build to handle novices on the downhill skiing scene, and months later, these novices will be able to handle downhill and mountain terrains on high speeds with great ease.

The Unlimited AC3 Ski is made from Wood Core construction, giving the board a stable, yet lightweight platform that will let beginners and intermediate-level skiers go all the way to practice and hone their skills. The wood core also gives the board the much-needed rigidity to withstand all those turns and bumps usually experienced while trekking the downhill track, as well as make the ride livelier. Power Grip construction improves the transmission of power from your boots (feet) to the board’s edges, resulting to an improved edging ability, and aids in making turns much easier than before. The core is also made from wood, giving the board its durable trait, and also making it more stable.

The board comes with its own binding set, the 3Motion 10.0 Bindings. Designed in conjunction with the Power Grip technology, it further complements the versatility of the board, making it able to withstand any snow conditions, whether it may be hard, crud, icy, or even groomed. Better edge grip and ski flex also comes with the bindings.

Experienced skiers recommend this for beginners and intermediate-level skiers who want to try some downhill action. In fact, some expert skiers told that this board is their stepping stone to skiing expertise. It may not be as fast and speedy as the other boards available in the market, but it is a good trade-off if you’re really willing to learn. Versatile, very forgiving even on high speeds, and durable, this is what makes a good (beginner) board.

If you need to know more information about the Volkl Men’s Unlimited AC3 Skis, and its bundled binding set, the 3Motion 10.0 Bindings, you can visit Volkl’s website.

Freeride skiers have always dreamt of a board that can evenly handle all-mountain terrains and terrain parks. Fortunately for them, Volkl has realized their dream, giving them the Volkl Men’s Bridge Ski. Designed to dominate all-mountain terrains, it can also be used to perform tricks and dominate terrain parks.

As the name implies, the Volkl Men’s Bridge Ski “bridges” the gap between big mountain terrains and terrain parks, making the board usable in either terrains, appealing all-mountain fanatics, as well as park and extreme skiing fans.

The Volkl Men’s Bridge Ski’s sidecut measurements are 130mm / 92mm / 112mm (tip / waist / tail), with all sizes sharing the same measurements. Its wide-waist design gives it more control than other wide-waisted boards. The board is available on three different lengths and sizes; the smallest size at 161cm, medium at 169cm, and the largest, 177cm. The board’s turn radius is measured at 16.1m at 161cm length, which is surprisingly small for such a big board, but makes the board ideal for narrow paths, where it is required to make smaller turns.

The Volkl Men’s Bridge Ski’s made with Power / Tough Box construction, which, as the name implies, gives the toughness and durability a ski board must have. The Tough Box enhancement equips the board with fiberglass strands around its core material, making it able to withstand the harsh environments of a big-mountain terrain. The core is made from multi-layer wood, named Sensorwood, which consists of vertically-laminated poplar and beech wood, making the board more rigid, especially on the edges. It is also equipped with lightweight Carbon stringers improves its rigidity further, but not making the board heavier in doing so.

The Bridge Ski does not have its own Integrated Binding System, nor does it have its own Binding set (although some ski shops sell this board with attached bindings). You can use your favorite bindings, but experienced skiers recommend using Salomon’s Z12 TI Ski Bindings. While the board is durable enough on its own, it wouldn’t hurt to add extra durability because you will use this board more often. The bindings also provide extra comfort and prevent feet sores and injuries especially when riding on big-mountain tracks and performing tricks on terrain parks.

Also added in the Bridge Ski’s are vibration-dampening components, which absorb shock and vibrations from hard landings, and hard ice usually experienced by skiers while riding on high speeds. This also makes the board last a long time, as it protects the board from damages that will render the board useless.

Experienced skiers recommend this board for those who want to spend equal time on mountain terrains, and snow parks. The board can be used in any snow condition, as it is strong enough to handle any given snow condition, whether it may be crud, hard, icy, or groomed.

If you want to know more about the board’s specifications, its price, where you can buy one and other information regarding the Volkl Men’s Bridge Skis, you can visit their website.

One of the X-Wing Collection line released by the Salomon Company, the Salomon Men’s XW Tornado Skis not only has the advantages of its predecessors, but has also unique features of its own that makes it distinct among the other boards in the collection.

Like its “brothers”, the Salomon Men’s XW Tornado is designed as a wide-waisted ski, meaning its controllability is top-notch, making it easier to conquer all-terrain mountains and different snow conditions with ease. It offers high performance and stability on both on-piste and off-piste, making it easier to conquer all terrains with this board.

The Salomon Men’s XW Tornado’s sidecut measurements are 120mm / 76mm / 106mm, that when compared to other boards in the X-Wing line, is much smaller. But smaller doesn’t mean lesser benefits, as it somehow gains other advantages that other boards don’t have. For example, with its small waist (even though this is supposed to be a wide-waist ski), it can easily make turns on narrow paths, with its small turn radius of 15.6m at 166cm length. The other XW boards can’t do this as they have much larger turn radius.

The board comes in varying sizes, with 156cm being the smallest, and the largest at 170cm. The larger the size is, the bigger the turn radius is.

Like all Salomon boards, this is made from full wood-core, giving it extra stability, but not sacrificing its speed and agility. Transmission of power (from the boots to the edges) is also made easy with this wood-core build, resulting to more edging ability and a more comfortable ride. As a part of the X-Wing family, it has an over-shaped sidecut, which improves the board’s carving ability over soft and cruddy snow conditions and improves responsiveness on groomed snow conditions. This board is also equipped with Pulse Pads, which gives it the ability to handle and minimize vibrations on hard falls, and sharp turns during high speeds. Coupled with full-width total reinforcement, it gives the board the much-needed rigidity to withstand hard snow conditions and extra responsiveness. P-Tex 4000 graphite base technology ensures smoothness of its performance by giving it high abrasion resistance, making its flotation and gliding ability almost perfect.

Bindings are ordinarily included in this board upon purchase, but if the seller does not include one, Salomon recommends using the Z12 Protrak Bindings (also from Salomon). The Z12 Protrak Bindings automatically adjusts the height and width at critical boot points, giving the skier maximum comfort, as well as extra stability, and better control of the board. It also offers protection to the feet to minimize feet injuries usually experienced when landing on hard snow or rocks.

With its high performance, and the ability to carve on both on-piste and off-piste terrains, it can conquer all areas of the mountain. Expert skiers will enjoy these as well as advanced-level skiers, but they might need to hold off on off-piste areas for a while until they are more experienced.

The Salomon Men’s Suspect Skis is very unique compared to its other “siblings” in the Salomon family. Influenced by street art and urban culture, the graphic art not only rivals that of Rossignol’s Seven Artistic Sins, but it also rivals other companies’ boards in terms of performance. With its all-terrain versatility, it can easily take on the mountain and downhill skiing scene.

Designed to handle downhill and park terrains, the Salomon Men’s Suspect Skis perform very well on both on-piste and off-piste areas. Whether it may be groomed or icy and hard, the Suspect Skis take it smoothly, with its tough and sturdy materials, it can handle any snow condition with great ease.

The Salomon Men’s Suspect Ski’s sidecut measurements are 122mm / 86mm / 115mm (tip / waist / tail), with all sizes sharing the exact same measurements. It comes in different sizes, ranging from the smallest at 151cm, 161cm, 171cm, 176cm, and the largest measurement, at 181cm. The board’s turn radius is 19.7m at the largest size (181cm). This is surprisingly small for a wide-waisted board, but it proves to be advantageous because you can easily make small turns on narrow paths and tracks.

Like the other boards made by Salomon, the Suspect Skis is made from the same materials used on other boards. But of course, it has its own unique additions as well.

The board is made with full-wood core, giving the board a stable build, but not reducing its agility and speed. Power transmission is made more efficient with this core material, as well as improving the board’s edging ability thus giving the skier a more comfortable ride. The sidewalls are made with ABS construction that provides strong support for extra durability for park and pipe skiing. Its edges are also equipped with elastomer Pulse Pads to absorb vibrations, resulting in a much smoother ride. A unique addition to this board is the “edge armor”, containing a super polyethylene fiber material sandwiched in between the edges of each ski to improve big impact absorption by up to 25%. This is very useful when doing complex tricks and hard landings. P-Tex 4000 graphite base technology ensures the smoothness of its performance by giving it high abrasion resistance, making its flotation ability unmatched by others.

The Suspect Skis does not have its own Integrated Binding System, or even a binding set to use. You can use your favorite binding set, as long as it does not measure 87mm and up. You can use one of the Salomon’s binding sets, particularly the Z12 Protrak Bindings. These bindings provide extra stability, and also protect the skier’s feet from injuries he / she might get from traveling downhill.

With its all-terrain versatility, and unmatched toughness, it’s no wonder why experienced skiers recommend this one. It can handle downhill terrains easily, and it can also be used on park and pipe skiing. What more could you ask for?

Are you looking for freeride ski boots that offer maximum comfort and enhance your performance as well? If so, then the Salomon Men’s Shogun Ski Boots is the right set of boots for you! Built for the daring freeride skier, the Shogun Ski Boots will be your best friend in facing the different mountain and park terrains.

The Salomon Company built it with the same technologies incorporated in the previous Salomon Men’s Ghost Ski Boots, particularly, its two-buckle system. The two-buckle system makes it easier for the skier to wear the boots. Plus, it gives him / her less uncertainty in adjustment resulting to the same feeling every time you use those boots. It’s also lighter than the traditional four-buckle boot, giving you more agility and more efficient power transmission from your boots (feet) to your board.

Of course, the Salomon Company also added unique additions to the Shogun Ski Boots, making it equal, if not better, to the Ghost Ski Boots. Its shell material is made with World Cup Advanced Shell Technology, which is designed to take on big mountain terrains, and improves flex. This, along with the shock-absorbing materials strategically placed on the footbed and tongue, gives the boots the rigidity it needs to withstand the harsh mountain environment, as well as to protect the feet of the skier, lessening the frequency of injuries during those hard falls and bumps.

The inside is equipped with Sensifit materials, and the Second Skin technology, which envelops the feet thoroughly, automatically adjusting the insides to get the perfect fit to give the skier maximum comfort. These materials also give the skier the warmth they need to protect their feet from experiencing cold-induced injuries.

Its cuffs can be removed or adjusted, thanks to its Double Dismantle Canting technology, that allows full cuff removal if you wish to customize it. The buckles can also be adjusted according to your own needs with the Auto 3D instep buckle, which allows you to adjust it freely, giving you more comfort, optimal envelopment, and more control.

Being very customizable, even surpassing that of Ghost Ski Boots’ customization, this is one boot that you need to buy if you want to conquer the freeride and mountain scene. Experience skiers and users who bought this product greatly recommend this for the daring freeride skier.

If you need to know more information about this product, you can visit Salomon’s official website.
