Make the backcountry your playground with the Head Men’s Mojo 90 Skis! Specially designed to handle backcountry challenges, the Mojo 90 Ski performs flawlessly and smoothly on untouched snow better than those traditional skis designed for groomed snow conditions. If you want to have a board that can do a clean take-off, and have a solid landing, then this board is for you!
The Mojo 90 Ski has sidecut measurements of 124mm / 89mm / 117mm (tip / waist / tail) in 176cm length. It is available in different sizes, ranging from 166cm, 176cm and the largest, 186cm. It has a wide turn radius of 20.2m at 176cm length, which makes it ideal for those untracked snow areas.
The Mojo 90 Ski is best used on off-piste terrains, under deep snow conditions. With its unique design and sidecut measurements, it can easily glide on deep snow, giving you the feeling of floating over those hip-deep snow conditions. The tips are specifically raised to give the board optimized control in broken and pristine snow. The base is made with Head’s Structured UHM C. Improved and faster than before, it makes the board more agile and speedy, but not compromising its balance.
Carbon Jacket base and heavy-duty construction gives it a rigid, yet lightweight build. It also provides extra stability and maneuverability, especially when doing those tight turns. The Mojo 90 Ski is also equipped with vibration-dampening materials, giving it a more rigid and durable build. Useful, especially if you need to do high jumps and solid landings, as it absorbs shock from those landings, therefore lessening the damage done to the board.
The Bindings are sold separately, but Head recommends the Mojo Integrated Bindings series. As evidenced by its name, the Mojo Integrated Bindings complements the design of the board, creating a more efficient board, and improves its performance dramatically.
Experienced skiers recommend this board for use at parks or on powder ski conditions, but that doesn’t mean it can’t take on other snow conditions. However, there might be a little drop on its performance when used on other snow conditions, but you will barely notice it while you’re enjoying the ride.
This board is recommended only for expert skiers, as it can go really, really fast, and beginners and intermediate-level skiers might not be able to handle the speed and lose control of the board.
