Think you are now good enough to handle and carve mountains alone? Are you now ready to face the challenges of the all-mountain terrain? If you answered both yes to these questions, then you need to equip yourself with the new Rossignol Men’s Avenger 72 Skis!

Versatile and stable, the Rossignol Men’s Avenger 72 Skis is the perfect choice when skiing on all-mountain terrains. With its materials built to maximize its versatility, it can handle any snow conditions with ease at medium to high speeds.

The Rossignol Men’s Avenger 72 Skis has sidecut measurements of 121mm / 72mm / 100mm (tip / waist / tail), with all sizes sharing the same measurements. It is available on varying sizes, the smallest size at 154cm, next is 162cm and 170cm, and the largest size, 176cm. The largest size has a turn radius of 17.5m, which enables this board to make easier turns.

Rossignol, to give the board its versatile attributes, combines the concepts of a freeride ski and a carving ski, combining the advantages of the two boards and incorporating them into one. And with that, the Avenger is born.

The Avenger 72 Ski is made from Microcell / Carbon core, which makes the board more durable and rigid, but does not add extra weight to the board, due to the lightweight carbon material. Its H construction, equipped with basalt reinforcements and VAS (Vibration Absorbing System) gives the board shock-absorbing properties to withstand the different hazards faced on the mountain terrain. It also protects the board from possible damages to the board from hard landings, rocks, and falls from large heights.

It comes with its own Bindings, the Axium 110 Bindings. These bindings are unique to other bindings as this, too, have VAS inserts absorbing vibrations from hard falls, and keeps the feet comfortable, as well as lessening the frequency of feet sores and injuries from those occurrences. The Avenger 72 Ski also has its own Integrated Binding System, called the TPI2 (Twin Pulsion Integral 2) system. With this system, the user can easily change or adjust his / her bindings easily to accommodate his / her needs, without the need of tools. This is very useful if you need to do some instant modifications to the board without hiking back to your cabin to do so.

Reviews on this board have been mostly positive. Experienced skiers have commented that Rossignol has done it again, effectively combining the different concepts into one, making it usable for both freeride and carving skiers. Its easiness to use is also praised by skiers, as one satisfied customer put it, “with two runs and some hours later, I’ve learned to adapt to this board and use it effectively”.

Advanced to expert-level skiers can use this board, but this is recommended for those who are trying to learn and take their skiing abilities to the next level.
