Groomed snow, watch out! Because here comes the new all-mountain Rossignol Men’s Zenith 6 Oversize Skis w/ TPI2 / Axium 120 Bindings! It can be used on all kinds of snow conditions, whether it may be icy, crud, or powdered, but it especially excels on groomed snow conditions, shredding through it with style and comfort.

The Rossignol Men’s Zenith 6 Oversize Skis is a Men’s-only ski, with sizes ranging from 170cm to 176cm and dimensions of 126mm / 74mm / 105mm (tip / waist / tail), and like the boards under the Zenith Oversize series, is built with classic laminate construction, vertical sidewalls, Micro cell nose tip, and a square tail. Its oversized tip and tail make initiating and exiting your turns much easier. The board is built with a 70% front side and 30% back side measurement, which is useful for skiers who prefer front side skiing. It also includes a TPI2 (Twin Pulsion Integral 2) / Axium 120 Binding, that absorbs the vibration during hard landing and falls. Carving is its first priority and with Rossignol’s H Structure construction in the bindings, it transfers power from edge to edge more efficiently and powerfully. The sidewall material can also be changed to fit according to the user’s needs, changing the behavior of the ski, therefore, improving its carving and edging power.

The Rossignol Men’s Zenith 6 Oversize Skis is purposely oversized. This is because they combined the traits of a wide-waisted freeride ski, which offers versatility, and a carving ski, which focuses on precision and stability. With these traits combined, it offers extreme manageability and superb control. The tip is also oversized and is made from Micro cell polyurethane core. This makes turning easier and has a wide turning radius of 14.6m (170cm). This board is obviously not recommended on narrow pathways.

Like other boards from the Zenith collection, this board also has the VAS (Vibration Absorbing System), which, like the name implies, absorbs the vibration from high falls and hard landings, preventing damage to the board as well as reducing foot injuries. The binding technology in this one, however, is different from other Zenith boards. While others incorporate the MUTIX binding technology, this uses TPI2 / AXIUM binding technology, which enables tool-free changes to its bindings to suit the user’s needs, very convenient if you don’t have tools around and you need to change the bindings in a jiffy. This technology helps make the board much more versatile than other skis.

Its main disadvantage is that it’s not speedy unlike other boards under the Zenith collection. But when it comes to carving, no board under the Zenith collection can top this one. It also excels in other departments like versatility, and stability. Its lack of speed should not be a hindrance to your purchase, as is still one of the best boards available on the market today.
